At the Khawaja Farid Auditorium on the Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus. The Directorate of Public Relations at Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) held a lively IUB Orientation Ceremony 2025. In two sessions, thousands of recently enrolled students attended the ceremony. Starting their academic careers at one of Pakistan’s best universities. Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, the vice chancellor, informed the students that instructors serve as their mentors, providing them with care and guidance, and that the university is their second home. He encouraged the new students to take advantage of this priceless chance to further their education in order to succeed and make their families, instructors, and community proud.

In order to develop students’ leadership skills, self-esteem, and character, extracurricular activities have been redesigned. Additionally, IUB has incorporated artificial intelligence into all academic programs, enabling students to acquire the skills necessary to succeed in both domestic and global labor markets, according to the vice chancellor.

IUB held 2025 orientation ceremony.

Students signed a specific oath to demonstrate their commitment to academics, devotion to the university, patriotism, discipline, and moral integrity for the first time in IUB’s history. This project was started at the start of the session by the vice chancellor to promote a strong dedication to academics. The students were personally led through university policies and available facilities. Their responsibilities are by Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf, Director of Student Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences. In addition, he told them about the hostel, medical, sports, transportation, and anti-drug, anti-harassment, and disciplinary regulations. Through a variety of societies and training initiatives on all campuses, the Directorate of Student Affairs continues to assist students in gaining self-discipline, self-assurance, and leadership skills.
