IUB Participation in China-Pakistan Modern Agriculture Conference

Pak-China Ties in Agriculture and Education:

Participating in the Pak-China Modern Agriculture Conference in Weifang, China, was Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, vice chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB).

Prof. Dr. Kamran recommended closer industrial and educational ties between China and Pakistan in his keynote speech. In order to promote reciprocal progress. He emphasized the necessity of technological cooperation, teacher and student exchange programs, and cooperative initiatives.

Speakers at the conference included Prof. Dr. Tanveer Ahmed, Chairman of the Department of Horticulture at MNS Agriculture University Multan. Khan Muhammad, Science Counselor of the Pakistani Embassy in Beijing. Nadir Chatha, Secretary of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Punjab. The prospects for promoting contemporary agriculture through academic and industrial partnerships were underscored by these esteemed speakers. Who also stressed the mutual advantages of closer collaboration.

Pak-China Modern Agriculture Conference

New Cooperation Agreements and Prospects:

At the Pak-China Modern Agriculture Conference, a collaboration agreement was inked on this occasion between School Enterprise collaboration China and Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) in order to improve ties between academia and industry. Modernizing agricultural technical education and encouraging sustainable farming methods are the partnership’s main objectives.

IUB Senior Faculty Member  Prof. Dr. Naveed AslamMulghani was also present at the signing event. In order to foster innovation, information exchange, and digital learning in agriculture and allied industries, the two countries discussed plans to form a China-Pakistan Digital Education Alliance during the visit. This project paves the way for furthering agricultural development, promoting technology cooperation, and yielding enduring advantages for China and Pakistan.
