Strengthening Academic and Research Ties:

To investigate potential academic and technological cooperation. A delegation led by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB). Traveled to Shandong Vocational Training College of Science and Technology in Weifang, China. Mr. Khan Muhammad from the Pakistan Embassy in Beijing, Prof. Dr. Naveed Aslam Malghani. Secretary of Skill Development Punjab Nadir Chattha (former Commissioner of Bahawalpur) was among the delegation members.
The president and top executives of Shandong Vocational Training College of Science and Technology cordially received the IUB group. The two sides held in-depth talks on potential areas of collaboration, focusing on advanced skill development training, collaborative research projects, student exchange programs, and initiatives to support innovation and entrepreneurship.
Opening New Avenues of Cooperation:

This visit significantly advanced the establishment of long-term academic and research collaborations between IUB and Shandong Vocational Training College. The proposed initiatives aim to raise higher education standards, strengthen contemporary vocational training, and create new opportunities for both professors and students.
The partnership aims to promote cultural exchange and improve people-to-people ties between China and Pakistan in addition to academic pursuits. Both institutions will gain from these efforts, which will also further the larger goals of sustainable development and knowledge exchange.
The partnership between Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Shandong Vocational Training College of Science and Technology will pave the way for future advancement, global exposure, and innovation. The university is also strengthening its relations with other countries.
