Delegation Members and Representation:
Weifang, Shandong Province, hosted a high-level delegation from Pakistan to attend the Pakistan–China Agri-Tech Collaboration Innovation Development Conference.

The Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) is Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran. Mr. Nadir Chattha, a former Bahawalpur commissioner, is the secretary of Punjab’s skill development and entrepreneurship department. Mr. Khan Muhammad, Science Advisor, Pakistani Embassy, Beijing. Objectives and Key Engagements:
Pakistan–China Agri-Tech Collaboration deepens industry-academia ties and spurs innovations in:
- Precision agriculture
- Protected cultivation
- Post-harvest management
- Skills development
In addition to the conference, the group intends to interact with Weifang’s agro-industry partners and local vocational and higher education institutions. Additionally, they will visit research and development facilities and meet with host institutions to identify priority areas for technology transfer and collaboration. The delegation was cordially received by the organizers, who pledged to deepen China-Pakistan agricultural cooperation.
