IUB and PITB offer paid IT internships:

A new paid IT internship program has been launched by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) in collaboration with the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB). Students will get access to a cutting-edge Makers Space and a monthly stipend of PKR 50,000 as part of this program. In order to guarantee that participants obtain internationally recognized credentials, the program also pays for all foreign IT certifications. Students will use these tools to hone their technical skills and get ready for opportunities in the competitive digital economy.

The PITB delegation met with IUB Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran to make the announcement. Director of Digital Skills Mr. Naveed Ali, Regional Head Mr. Yasir Afzal, and Regional Head Ms. Hina Arshad were among the delegation members. Other senior IUB officials who attended the meeting included Mr. Salman Mehmood Qureshi, Chief Warden; Mr. Waseem Ahmad Siddiqui, Senior Staff Officer; and Mr. Zulfiqar Saeed, Director of IT. The executives together underlined that this collaboration is a significant advancement in building students’ global competitiveness and professional readiness.
